The Yellow Twig Dogwood is a compact shrub which grows to a maximum size of 5-8 feet tall by 5-8 feet wide with a spreading habit. White flower clusters adorn the green foliage in spring and are followed by white ornamental fruit. Four-inch, dark green leaves fill out the shrub until they transition to a deep red for autumn. The plant’s twigs maintain their green color through the summer months, it makes a dramatic shift to bright yellow after the leaves have fallen leaving a brilliant color of yellow for the winter months.
