A Living Memorial
to Past Members of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club
This pollinator friendly garden provides food, water, shelter, and places to raise young for butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and other plant pollinators.
A plant pollinator is an animal that causes plants to make fruit or seeds by moving pollen from one part of the flower of a plant to another part. The pollen then fertilizes the plant. Only fertilized plants can make fruit and/or seeds, and without them, the plants cannot reproduce.
**The Pollinator and Memorial Garden Phase 1 is complete. A Phase 2 will be starting in 2021! If you would like to contribute a monetary donation please visit our DONATION PAGE.
Memorial Markers
Memorial stones for members of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club that contributed so much to the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum have been placed lovingly around the garden.
