Fall Pollinator Garden at the Townsend River Walk & ArboretumFall Pollinator Garden at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum located across from the Children's Discovery Garden.

The Fall Pollinator Garden (which starts blooming mid to late summer) is a beautiful array of colors, textures, and heights.  We wish we could take credit for the garden but after removal of invasives and we stopped weed eating it, Mother Nature took over and created this wonderful garden.

Plants that are currently in the garden include:

 Fall Pollinator Garden Plants

Solidago nemoralis - Common Goldenrod

Vernonia noveboracensis - Ironweed
Verbesina alternifolia - Yellow Wingstem or Yellow Ironweed
Verbesina virginica - White Wingstem or White Crownbeard
Smallanthus uvedalia - Bear's Foot orHairy Leafcup

During the Spring/Summer months we have an active bluebird house in the center of the Fall garden so that there is always something to discover.
