Dawn Myers a Townsend artisan and wonderful friend of the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum created three birds and a life-like snake for the TRWA. Dawn was given several river rocks and from them found the best to make her creations. She did not disappoint. The detail is amazing and the colors are spectacular. What a great addition to The Children's Discovery Garden.
The two birds pictured above were mounted in wooden branches by Rodney and Allison Pearson and then installed as permanent residents in trees at the Children's Discovery Garden.
The last bird and the snake will be mounted soon.
