Take a Sneak Peak at the New Sensory Garden & Path
at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum.
The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum will have the Grand Unveiling of the newly installed Sensory Garden and Path on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10 am thru 2 pm. Bring the kids and get there before 10:30 to enter children 12 and under into the drawing to see who will be the first to enter the Sensory Path thru the Portal! We will also be giving away mini moon pies to the first 100 children. (Moon pies are the official snack of the TRWA Volunteers).
With donations from our 2026 Fund Drive and the incredible dedication of the TRWA Volunteer, this project was planned, installed and completed during the the hot and humid weather of July and August this year. A big round of applause for those who donated to the fantastic project and to the TRWA Volunteers. It couldn't have been done without either.
