The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum obtained it's Organizational Pollinator Stewardship Certification on March 18, 2026 by the Pollinator Partnership Organization at www.pollinator.org. Over the last 2 years we have installed 4 Native Pollinator Gardens to attract and the ever important native pollinators such as bumble bees, wasps, butterflies, hummingbirds and more.
We have 4 of our 8 volunteers: Allison Pearson, Kay Goodwin, Rodney Pearson and Mark Seder each obtain their Pollinator Steward Certification. A fifth volunteer Erica Waechter is in the process of receiving her certification. What a great group of volunteers!
Stop by this year and enjoy all our Native Pollinator Gardens as well as all the native plants that the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum has to offer!
