The TRWA Volunteers Wish Everyone A Very Happy Thanksgiving!

We are very thankful for so much. Since last Thanksgiving we have been able to complete the following projects at the TRWA:
- Picnic Area
- The Townsend Express Train
- Rainwater Native Pollinator Garden
- The "Rock" Native Pollinator Garden
- Spring/Summer Native Pollinator Garden
- The "Island" Native Pollinator Garden supporting Pollinator.org
- Plant over 500 plants and trees
- Over 20 new tree and garden signs.
- Continuing Maintenance of the Points of Interest and Invasive Removal.
None of this would have been possible without the following:
- The Fantastic "8". Our all volunteer TRWA team that has put in over 1300 hours, traveled over 4600 miles and have greeted over 3000 visitors to the TRWA. Without this team of community volunteers the TRWA would not exist as it does today.
- All the folks that have donated to the TRWA. From all across the country that provide the funds to continue maintaining the TRWA and supporting our projects and project plan.
- Project TRWA (501c3) that administering the financial aspects of the TRWA and responsible for fund drives.
- The City of Townsend Maintenance Crew, the City of Townsend Parks & Rec, The City of Townsend Police.
- The Artists that have contributed so much to the TRWA: Susie & Ron Holmes, Capt. Dave Lavoie, and Dawn Myers.
- All the those in the community that help with litter pickup, straightening the Mud Kitchen and Faerie Villages and the lady that keeps our dog waste bag dispenser full.
- Most of all we are Thankful for the visitors to the TRWA. Young and old alike enjoying what nature and the volunteers have given them to explore.
