Newly installed benches and gameboards on the Bluebell Trail's Little River View platform.Newly installed benches and gameboards on the TRWA Bluebell Trail's Little River View platform.

We have now completed the final stage of the Bluebell Trail with the installation of benches and game boards on the recently installed Littler River View platform.  It is wonderful place to sit, relax and take advantage of the view and closeness of The Little River while watching the geese, ducks, kingfishers and occasionally a bald eagle as well as watching other animals that inhabit this area.

Rodney & Allison Pearson along with Mark Seder have completed the Bluebell Trail in less than a year with much of the lumber to build the foot bridge, benches and Little River View platform coming from the Honey Locust that blew down in March 2023 that was milled at Captain Dave's in Townsend.   Completely finished may be an misnomer, there is always maintenance and after planting approximately 300 native bluebells last year, we will be planting an additional 300 this year.

Stop by and enjoy the views of this fantastic trail at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum.
