Event Calendar - Townsend River Walk & Arboretum

You are welcomed to join us for the dedication of the Robert "Bob" & Elaine Russell Gregory Bald Azalea Garden.  The garden is located just off US 321 by our Roadside Specimen Garden.  Read more about Bob & Elaine and the Garden.

The garden is a tribute to the vision and dedication to establishing the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum (TRWA).  

Bob passed away last October while Elaine and her family will be at the dedication.  Stop by and see Elaine and thank her for her efforts in making the TRWA a special place for the City of Townsend.

Light refreshments will be available and self guided tours after the event with members of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club available to answer questions and for a deeper insight of the TRWA.
