Keep Blount Beautiful will host its America Recycles Day on Saturday, October 22nd at First Baptist Maryville, 202 W Lamar Alexander Pkwy, from 10 AM until 2 PM. This event is a free, drive-through collection of hard-to-recycle items for proper recycling or reuse. The collection items are listed below.

NOTE: Please review the information below carefully before packing up your items. Household recycling, household hazardous waste, paint, or lightbulbs will not be accepted at this event. For disposal information, visit the Resources tab at KeepBlountBeautiful.org. Items cannot be dropped off any earlier than 10 AM.

Shred-It*:
Secure documents for shredding and recycling

NOTES: Documents will be accepted from households only, not businesses/offices. Staples and paperclips are okay for shredding, but not metal binding. Shredding is done on-site. Shredding services will only be available as capacity lasts. To ensure room for secure documents only, regular paper should be taken to the Blount County Convenience Center or placed in your recycling bin.
